Hyozan-Gama
When Yozaemon, the fourth master of the Hyozan-gama, presented pottery to Toyotomi Hideyoshi, who unified Japan in 1590, his technique was praised and he was given a red seal of approval and the surname "Hashiba". The studio follows a long tradition of pottery production.
Shinogi is a decorative technique which ridge lines are carved on the surface.
