This small bowl is made using kohiki, a traditional pottery technique that involves applying an iron-rich clay body, a layer of white slip, and a translucent glaze.
The unique sogime pattern is created by hand-scraping the clay off of each pottery.
Each cup boasts a distinct appearance.
