Glazed stoneware・5 day wood-fired
Hand-formed from an iron-rich American clay, this teapot features a thick, luscious purple toned glaze (hence its name). The glaze runs partially down the side of the teapot, leaving the unglazed foot exposed. The interior is glazed.
The short spout is subtly throated, allowing for a very tight output stream. A round finial graces the lid.
Usage and care: Hand-wash with water only.
