‘Braided’ / 40x40 cm / solid Oak with Art glas 

‘Braided’ is a lovely piece of art, with plenty of calm and edge. It is made of cotton paper that is braided and painted with three colors. The artwork has a fantastic shape and at the same time creates a nice depth in the frame. The color contrasts are absolutely perfect and create a nice whole against each other.

The frame is a box frame, which means that it has a nice depth between the glass and the back plate, which gives the paper clip space ‘to live’. The price is incl. the box frame and the artwork 1/1.  The beautiful frames produced in Denmark. I think that is important. The light is solid oak and the dark is dark oak veneer. Some of them have museum glass, others have regular glass fitted.

The materials I use are in my artwork are organic recycled paper, Cotton paper, Bark paper, Carson French cardboard and then I try to use old scraps of quality paper, in order to use the least amount of resources.

My name is Camilla Bødker and I have a BA in graphic design from the design school.

I love the ’perfect - imperfect’. I love when the edges are a little crooked and you can see the ’recycling’ in the paper. For me, it creates a perfect connection, both visually and emotionally.
