Shoto-en is a pottery studio located in Dachi, Toki city, Gifu Prefecture, the center of Mino ware production. They produce everyday-use tableware that fits modern lifestyle.
They polish their pottery with sensitivity while incorporating traditional techniques. Using a wide variety of designs and techniques, they draw out the material power of clay and glaze, and specializes in the warmth and texture.
