This charming debut collection from New York artist, Erin Louise Clancy, is made for celebration. The artist’s delicate, watercolor-like glazing is rendered with a fine hand. The pale colors, pinks, yellows, oranges, and soft celadon blue are contrasted with splashes of gold luster that reflect ambient light.
These cups are delicately thrown, and in the hand, add an air of circumstance and celebration to your tea practice.
This series is accompanied by a matching gaiwan for a complete tea service.
* Please take note that each cup can be slightly different in color tone, texture, size, and shape. It is not unusual to have areas of thicker glazing, and or colorations that reflect the different interactions between the mineral content of the clay body and glaze. Each cup is hand made and unique, and may not be identical to the photographed item.
Usage and care: Hand-wash only, mild detergent and a soft sponge is ok.
