One of three Xi Shi tea pots we commissioned as a study of clay types. Crafted by ceramicist Huang Ya Ping, the assistance of a mold allows us to offer an exceptionally high quality tea pot using an authentic zisha clay without the cost of full hand craftsmanship.
Perfectly shaped to accommodate a range of different tea types. Nine outlets arranged in a diamond pattern allow for quick drainage. Series of thirty pieces.
Usage and care: Thoroughly rinse particles of sand from the interior before use. Dedicate one tea type per pot. Eventually, a tea pot will be seasoned with the particular character of a tea. Hand-wash only without soap or detergent.
