Kurinuki meaning:
Kurinuki translates in Japanese 'to hollow' and is a traditional technique to make pottery from carving away from a single block of clay. Hollowing out clay in this way is a slow and meditative process that produces truly unique one-of-a-kind ceramics that can never be repeated.
KLAY Copenhagen is a new brand, created by the owner of KLAY Copenhagen.
We aim to design and create timeless pieces for long lasting use, products that you will want to keep for years to come.
All products are stoneware, designed and produced in our studio and shop in Copenhagen.
